Buxbaum, Friedrich - Signature on Gustav Mahler Photograph 1901

Austrian cellist (1869-1948) and principal cello for many years of the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna Staatsoper. 

Photo postcard of Gustav Mahler signed and inscribed by Buxbaum with a short sentiment in Vienna, 1901.  Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, creases over the top, postal stamps on verso, in very good condition.
