Margery Myers Booth (1906-1952) was a British mezzo-soprano who emigrated to Germany during WWII and became a spy. Arrested by the Gestapo in 1944 and tortured, she was later released by the liberating army. Not being recognized for what she did after her return to London, Myers Booth emigrated to New York where she died of breast cancer in 1952, at age 46.
Rare signed photo postcard, inscribed, all on verso, shown young and dated in 1927. Size is 3.4 x 5.3 inches, in excellent condition.
