Austrian opera impresario (1902-1997), well-remembered for his 22 years as the General Manager of the Metropolitan Opera in New York (1950-1972). 

Set of 2 typed letters signed on the official letterhead of the Metropolitan Opera, one dated in 1963 and the other in 1971. Size is 8.5 x 11 inches, in excellent condition. Not sold separately.
