Autograph note in French signed by him as “Bernard”, dated 1956, in Lyda Fournier’s Visits Album: "Lida, you're the only Lida and that's why I love you, now that we're far from the city that was so little made for us. Nothing could foster our affection more than this dreamland...". Lydia Fournier was the wife of the cellist Pierre (1906-1986).
