English composer (1913-1976), conductor and pianist, central figure of the 20th-century British music, with a range of works including opera & vocal, orchestral and chamber music.  Signed card with a short sentiment nicely matted with an original photo of him on a soft mat.  Photo is ink stamped on verso by photographer Studio-Lipnitzky, Paris.  Card is 4 x 2.1 inches (visible window size), photo is 4.5 x 6.5 inches (visible window size), total mat size is 9.6 x 14 inches, in excellent condition.
