German violinist (1845-1908) and teacher, a child prodigy, Wilhelmj toured extensively with success, created arrangements for the violin and later in his life was a teacher in London.
Original signed cabinet photo by Elliott & Fry, London; attached on front with a signature cut by him, inscribed and dated in London, 1900. Cabinet photo is 4.25 x 6.5 inches in size, some damage on corners and inscription seems to have been erased.
ALSO INCLUDED is a 3-pages autograph letter signed, written in German (sold untranslated), dated in London, 1875. Size is 5 x 8 inches each page, mounting traces on verso, folds, otherwise in excellent condition.
