Hungarian conductor (1855-1922) who performed internationally, holding posts in Boston, London, Leipzig and Berlin. He was considered an outstanding interpreter of the music of Bruckner, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven and Liszt. Large signed photo showing him inspecting a score. Blind stamp on front by photographer E. Hoemisch, Leipzig, Germany. Size is 9.1 x 11.75 inches (actual photo is 6 x 7.9 inches), silvering around borders, some stain over lower border of the mat, in very good condition.
