French composer, oboist (1858-1929) and music teacher whose Studies for Oboe are considered among the best to master the instrument.

Autograph letter in French signed by him, dated London, March 10, 1859, addressing a fan, sending him a music quote a some verses of his own.  Size is 5.2 x 8.2 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet (front and verso), sold untranslated, with letterhead, folds, in very good condition.
