Signed page from Barcarolle, one of his works (op. 30/1), inscribed to Whistling, a famous publisher from Leipzig. Carl F. Whistling (1788-1855) was a music publisher and bookseller in Leipzig, his son Friedrich Whistling (1809-1861), to whom Rubinstein inscribed this printed score, was Robert Schumann“s most important publisher.
A total of six pages plus back cover, front cover is missing, signed, inscribed and dated by Rubinstein at the bottom of page 1, larger format: 10.25 x 13.3 inches. Brittle old paper, minor stains and some cracks, but in overall very good condition.
