Lot of four short autograph letters in French (untranslated) signed by him. Letters are dated between 1839 and 1859 and are addressed to music-related people such as Alfred de Beauchesne (1803-1876), secretary at the Conservatoire and the music critic Alexis Azevedo (1813-1875), concerning music performance programs, and a performance of Halevy’s La Juive in 1844.Â
