New Zealand-born Australian flute player (1883-1964), who performed with orchestras around the world and made a career as an international soloist. 

Larger size photograph mounted on a slightly larger black cardboard signed and inscribed with a short sentiment by the flutist, dated in 1928; photo by Ep. Short & Son, Nottingham.  Total size is 8 x 13.5 inches, actual photo is 5.5 x 8 inches, some silvering over the edges and stains over the upper border, in overall good condition.
