Autograph note in French (untranslated) signed by him, datedĀ March 9, 1829, addressedĀ to the dramatist TheĢophile Marion Dumersan (1780-1849) about an upcoming appointment.Ā Size is 8 x 4.8 inches, rust stains, creases, in overall good condition.
ALSO INCLUDED is an autograph document signed by him, dated May 17, 1828, an Annual grant accorded to the violinist by the āFonds de reĢserveā of the DeĢpartement de Beaux-Arts.
In 1821 the composer Carl Maria von Weber conducted a concert in Berlin, in which Boucher was a performer, playing Weber's Variations on a Norwegian Air, to which he added his own cadenza. In April 1822 he visited Ludwig van Beethoven; at the occasion, the composer wrote for Boucher a piece for two violins (WoO 34 in the KinskyāHalm Catalogue).
