Russian soprano and voice teacher (1833-1902), from 1866 to 1878 an artist at the Bolshoi Theatre and was also a fellow professor with Tchaikovsky at the Moscow Conservatory from 1866–1880. She became one of the first performers of the composer's works.
Signed cabinet photograph, shown as herself, dated in Saint Petersburg in 1898. Blind stamped on front by photographer. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, small tear on top right, otherwise in excellent condition.Â
